Year 11 GCSE Spanish Group Cook 'Churros'
Miss Lumb’s year 11 Spanish class took part in a practical cooking lesson to coincide with a unit of work they were doing on Spanish food and Tapas. The group went down to the Catering Department and made Spanish 'Churros con chocolate' which is basically a Spanish doughnut rolled in sugar and dipped in a thick hot chocolate sauce. Everyone brought in their own ingredients and they made the food from scratch. The whole group enjoyed the experience. Most of the Churros turned out perfectly and the winner of the best one was Annabel Davies. They were helped by Mrs Bellas.
